Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Contour GPS cam. It's a small action cam much like the GoPro, but it has a few extra bells & whistles. For starters, it logs GPS data along with video so that you can actually view location on a map while playing back video. They made this for skiers, mountains bikers etc, but I can see a huge benefit for this in the Multi-rotor world. Also, it allows you to use your iPhone/iPod/iPad as a remote viewing screen. No more fumbling through cryptic camera settings or waiting till you get near a computer to view your shot. Just open your iPhone and you can frame your shot and change any settings you need all remotely. (As an iPhone developer, this is very appealing to me). One last thing is the software they provide for you. It allows you to watch your GPS tracking and video all in the same frame, AND it works on both PC & Mac.
