Maybe this says something about how sales are going or just a promotion before the holidays?

Effective immediately, any Chroma drone sold on or after November 1, 2015 will include a limited warranty against manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase. Unlike other drone warranties that cover different components and accessories for different lengths of time, this one covers everything in the box for the 6-month period. That includes the controller, battery, charger, gimbal, camera and anything else that came from the factory with the drone.

To learn more about it, go to the Chroma Warranty page right now!

I'd guess a push to get sales up going into the holiday season. There's a lot of similarity between some of these media kopters so a little extra service will go a long way!

You're probably right. But my idea was far more sinister and intriguing :)

Probably more towards increasing sales, especially considering a basic Phantom 3 can be had cheaper or their Phantom 3, 4k version for about the same as a Chroma. However, Horizon has always been pretty good with their customer service and we all know who does not, and that outfit is getting hit on two sides with their poor C.S. policies now. I've been dealing with them for JR radio equipment for a lot of years and they've always handled what ailed me. Related to the Chroma there have been some reports of less than perfect new motors on a few units and Horizon has quickly stepped up to replace them. Yuneec works the same way so between the two of them, or simply either/or, there's a good support structure in place.

So you have a product that will work for the entry level group, adjusts to fit the advanced flyer, shoots good pics and video, has good customer support, and now a 6 month warranty. That's worth a few dollars more just for the peace of mind after spending $1,200.

As far as appearance is concerned, one can have just about any color you want on a consumer drone, as long as it's white...

Oh good! I in fact didn't know. Lol

To my eyes black makes for better viability.

I'm pretty glad to see Blade in this game. I feel they have a better position to give the Dj's a run :)
