Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anyone can help me?

If I set my Wookong M into failsafe by turning off the tx, can I regain control by switching tx back on?

I currently also have the failsafe programmed to a switch, again can I regain manual control once RTH has been activated?

Many thanks for any help anyone can offer!!

, ever turn your tx off until you have unplugged your battery from your acft, ever! This feature is an absolute last resort, peroid!

Yes, you can recover from rth easily. Just move the switch turning off failsave then toggle the flight control switch off of gps or it's current assignment to a lower level, like ATT, or manual. You can then immediately toggle the flight control switch back to gps or whatever you wish, no problem.
Just get use to the idea that turning off your tx before unplugging your battery is the biggest mistake you can make!
Sure, if everything is correct it will work, but what if something is wrong and you don't know it until you do turn it off?

Thanks for the Quick reply guys!

Sorry Tomstoy2, I meant turning off the tx in flight. I would never just turn off the the tx before removing the battery on the ground, I learnt the hard way with a trex 450 some years ago not to Turn off the tx first!!!

Many thanks again for your help!

Once again, so everybody understands, turning off a transmitter before the flight pack is unplugged, whether it is in flight or on the ground is NOT a good idea!
Develope and religiously follow safety protocols!

The whole idea of the 'turning off the tx in flight' scenario is to test the failsave goes into failsave when plugged into the assistant screen, it is not intended to be done in actual flight.
It is a last ditch effort and if everything is set up properly, a big IF, it will safely return your acft home.
However, there is a lot to set up properly to do this.
To test your rth capability just use your failsafe switch on the tx.

Think what would happen if you turn off the radio in flight. First, in order to reestablish control it would need to rebind first, a time consumming event. Should somehing go wrong, it happens very fast.

If you feel the need to absolutely test your system by turning off your tx, then at least make sure you are smack dap in the middle of butt-**** nowhere totally out of battery range of the acft to reach anything! Nver do this in a city park, your back yard, a school yard,,, you get the idea.

If you feel he need to test this by turning off the tx in flight then you had better be first extremely familiar with not only the WKM, but your transmitter and it's failsafes, the enviroment you are flying in and the terrain around you.
Also, Better check what your insurance adjuster has to say about you accidentally crashing this thing into a baby carriage mangling the baby permanently for life. I can pretty much guarantee you the judge isn't going to give a damn when you look a him and say, "but according to the directions",,,,,

fun yes, toys mabe, lethal yes,,,
