Cable size??

I am now shopping for batteries and wire to make a power ring, I'm just not sure what rating the cable needs to be. I'll be running 6x 880kv motors each drawing 20A at 100% throttle. I'm thinking 2x 5000Mah 4S batteries

Is 12 AWG cable suitable? I don't have any idea how the AWG relates to cable diameter and max. amps.

Gunter concerning the the Lipos if you want to stay with the Zippy buy them over HK, they have the 5000 mah 4s with higher C at the german warehouse for 43$

DIdnt check but the nano with same mah should be lighter than the Zippy

About the wires i would use the same AWG like the lipos and they have AWG 10. AWG 10 is 5.26 mm2. I am using 6mm2 cooper.

Thanks Boris, wire and batteries ordered! I have heard that HK takes a long time to deliver, I'll wait and see!

if you ordered out of the german warehouse its shorter. Normally i wait 1.5 weeks from headquarters to austria which is okay i think
