I can see that. It’s probably hard to be both. For me it’s the little things that are just as important as the big ones - rules and regulations, restricted flight areas, etc. ... .

You can get all of the resources for free at the FAA UAS website. It will have all of the rules and regs you need to fly drones in the USA.

ASA and Gleim are easy options for books if you are looking for exam prep.

Thanks for the link. I've registered by drone and received my certification number. The FFA is a bit of a mine field, but I'm finding my way. I did pick up the book I posted the link for - so far it's pretty good. I'm very interested in aerial photography with an ultimate aim of getting a professional certification.
