After my incident with mother earth, I'm happy to report,,,
It's done!
The Hexa is now ready for flight testing!
Couldn't find anything wrong with a motor or esc. I'm now lead to believe that a prop on #3 motor was slipping.
The APC's have an interchangable hub to accomodate larger shaft sizes, plus, kind of disappointing really, no knurls on the prop mount.
When I took off the props I was kind of suprised to find the nuts weren't as tight as I remember installing them, despite them being double nutted.
So, this time I wrenched them bad boys down until my neck veins buldged!
Even so, I'mm make sure to do it again after a few test flights. Might need to install start washers to just make damn sure.
Either way, it's time to get cleaned up and take her out for a test flight before going to work.
God,,, I LOVE spring!!!
