Are forum active threads disappearing too fast ?

I guess this is one for you Bart.
Our forum is getting very popular now and the rate of new thread post has increased. This seems to mean that threads disappear from the active threads list quite rapidly, perhaps before they have run their natural course. Do people think that the list should reflect things for longer ?

You can go to 'New Posts' instead, to see stuff from farther back.

I click on "todays posts" when I want to catch up

you can also use thread tools to subscribe

if there is a particular thread you want to keep an eye on

then just go to notifications at top right of page then subscriptions half way down on the left

easy to find particular threads this way

if your list of subscribed threads gets to big then just unsubscribe from the older ones

that seems to work for me if im away for a few days pretty easy to catch up

I think I made this suggestion a while back but how about a page link at the bottom of the active forums? this way we can just click the active forums and then go to the next set of most active right there.
