Hi Budman
There are no stupid questions...we all had to start somewhere....and once you are more experienced, you will help others...
So...yor connections are ok....The WooKong is doing 2 things....it stabilizes pitch and roll when you fly, and it let's you tilt the camera with your Futaba via the WooKong, but you cannot move the camera in the roll or any other direction. The 3rd servo from the Alware you do not connect to the WooKong, you connect it directly to the Futaba on a free channel, for example Channel 7. Then you assign that channel for example to RD...and thats all. You only have to center that servo properly....Once you plug in the battery, the 500X and the Alware will then be perfectly in line. Once you are up in the air, you turn RD and the 500x will keep its direction and the Alware will move to the left or the right. Just make sure the servo cables are long enough if you turn the Alware left and right.
Any more questions, plese ask....
