Align G3-5D gimbal & Graupner GR-24 receiver?

Hello!
A newbie asks for help:

I'm looking for Align G3-5D gimbal for my Vulcan multicopter which has Graupner MC-20 Hott radio and Graupner GR-24 receiver. The G3-5D has sbus port for tilt and pan control. The problem is that Graupner has no sbus. Is there any other method to control the gimbal with Graupner without sbus?

You may be able to use a converter to change PPM to sbus protocol. Something like this may work:

I would do some research specific to graupner to see if anyone has had luck with these types of products and the Graupner data feed.
