I have been using DJI 900mhz data link for a while. Often tested travel distance up to now is 4 km forth and back in an open area (LOS). I wonder what happens if I set waypoints behind objects like buildings, mountains, trees and so on… Probably I lose radio tx-rx connection (LRS) and video rx-tx connection (1.2 GHz, patch antenna) but will the bird continue to follow waypoints behind those objects and complete the mission? Also I wonder what is the range limit of 900mhz data link using stock antenna.
