Sony Nex-5r and Nex-6 remote setting apps?

Hi, I believe wifi is only applicable for Nex-5r and Nex-6 but I might be wrong? Still haven't done any testing with this link to verify whether the 2.4 GHz RC is having trouble. I will for sure test this thoroughly in order to avoid surprises during flight.:livid: I am using a standard DX-8...

Sony Nex-5r and Nex-6 remote setting apps?

Ok, that explains why. Thanks for your info. I registered and requested (wished for) a new app that could control both mode settings and the power zoom. Excited to see if/when such an app is released.

Sony Nex-5r and Nex-6 remote setting apps?

Hi, anybody that knows of an iOS app where you can change settings on your cam such as shutter/aperture/photo mode etc. from your iPhone using the wifi connection? Maybe even control the power zoom (16-50 pancake)? All I've found are too simple and only provide live view and remote "take...

Issue with F550 and battery life

Just to be sure - have you checked your voltage reading with a multimeter so that the Naza sees the same voltage? (Voltage calibration)

Easy way of running motors individually?

Ok, stupid question maybe, but what if I bind the radio to another receiver and just move one wire a time from the Naza esc connector side to the throttle channel of this new receiver? Does it make sense? I guess you guys already requested the option to run motors individually as a software...

Easy way of running motors individually?

Hi, I suspect a bad bearing on one of my quad motors. Is there an easy way of running the motors individually in order to test/listen/measure? Running Gaui stock 18A ESC´s with Tiger MT2216 motors on my 500XT. FC is Naza M GPS on FW 3.12 Thanks!

How will inaccurate values for mounting affect the MR?

Hi Bruce and thanks for your input :) Most of the fact regarding my hard fail-safe landing is to be found here http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?12444-Tested-failsafe-with-a-not-so-good-result As you can see, it was a fail-safe verification test which didn´t turn out as I was...

How will inaccurate values for mounting affect the MR?

Heureka! Got it! Thanks :) With this in mind I guess z- position is totally irrelevant for the craft to calculate necessary thrust in order to slow down descending velocity? I have my very hard fail-safe landing in mind...

How will inaccurate values for mounting affect the MR?

Thanks for your input. Slowly beginning to get a grip. But the accelerometers are located in the main unit I guess? Still puzzled by the fact that you have to enter offsets in cm for a sensor that collects GPS data? And how can a faulty Z-value by a few centimeters affect the ability to land...

How will inaccurate values for mounting affect the MR?

Hi, it says in my manual that I have to change the values (X,Y,Z) offset from center of gravity, each time a change the all upp weight (eg add/remove a camera). How will these numbers affect the behavior of the bird? To me it seems that it flies equally good even when I add a Nex-5 (about 450g)...

Tested failsafe with a not so good result...

I've just replaced the Scorpion motors with these http://www.pitchup.se/index.php?route=product/product&path=89&product_id=2031 and use either a 3S 30C Zippy 5800mAh or a 3S 30C 5500mAh Gravity. Gives me about 7 min. duration which I believe is enough for still images.

Tested failsafe with a not so good result...

My quad weighs 2150g and out of this about 450g is camera equipment. I used 11x4.5 Tiger CF props which gave me plenty of lifting power. I will double check the balance point which I guess is the same as COG? I also got the impression that the descending from 20 metres was simply too fast to...

Tested failsafe with a not so good result...

Ok, by GPS calibration you mean the Naza dance? I didn't get any indication of GPS or compass problems. The quad was rock stabile both in position and direction and I left it hovering for about 30 sec. to wait for a passing car just before I engaged fail-safe. It performed a perfect position...

Tested failsafe with a not so good result...

Hi everybody, today I decided to test failsafe for the first time. I flew away about 100 metres and "parked it in the air", then flipped the fail-safe switch at about 5 metres altitude. It started by descending a meter or so, then went up to 20 metres, turned towards the take off point and came...

    Is your voltage reading correct???

Ok, thanks for your info! After recalibrating I gained yet another minute or so of flight time. My OSD tells me that I have drained the battery for about 4500 out of 5500mAh when it autolands (safety level 2 = 10.3V) Am I still too much on the safe side? Regards

    Is your voltage reading correct???

Hmm... just fond out that I can recalibrate the voltage monitor of the Naza. Will do first thing tomorrow :) And I thought I bought a ready-to-fly system. At least thats what the vendor told me (and charged me for) Grrrr....

    Is your voltage reading correct???

Hi, I suspected my voltage protection to kick in way too early so I hooked up a voltage meter to the distribution point (splitter) on the 500XT. The reading is 0.4 volts higher than Naza assistant tells me. This correlates well with my OSD that displays 11.1V when I get the red blinkning warning...

    Flight time and fail-safe settings...

Hello again! Just want to check wether my birds behaviour is normal... It is a dual camera equipped Gaui 500XT with Naza GPS v1 on FW 3.12 I only get about 4-5 minutes of flight time before it goes into first warning (red flashes). About one minute later it descends. Resting at ground it...
