Because the lightbridge is on the 2.4GHz you cannot use another 2.4GHz transmitter/RX. You you will have to use a UHF radio for copter control and then attach another radio to the lightbridge in trainer mode to control the gimbal through the 2.4GHz lightbridge link

Welcome to the DJI Zenmuse 5D gimbals I ordered two new 5D3 gimbals both had issues I sent the one back that had the less" issues". Mine does the same thing and the horizon drifts huge on PAN. If you pan at snail speed it I not as bad. DJI NEEDS TO FIX THIS **** Also since the last Zen GH3...

Make sure the thumb screw around the lens is tight and you have the plastic collar installed on the 5D

Maybe they could jut fix the issue rather than finding a work around...

So what's the word on the horizon drift?

Does this only happens in the zenmse?

Each axis has a encoder on it(pot) check that it is not damaged or shifted. If this has moved the gimbal will not know where it is and may do strange things as it will have no reference to "zero" maybe slip ring damage....

No firmware fix or updates. DJI did mention to me maybe sometime in June

Well DJI got back to me after 2 weeks and stated that they are testing new firmware for the Zen 5D3. Fingers crossed that it works like it should after it gets released. As far as time frame they said "soon" I told them I would be a beta tester as it cant get any worse

Wow it's almost perfect and you can balance any lens you need on that frame. Does it include software for tuning? And how much does the gimbal weigh?

Not sure how DJI Europe can deny these problems when clearly you guys are contacting them ,just trying to cover their ***. You can guarantee that they read these forums and know what's going on. All the need to do is admit that this faulty get a firmware fix for it, stop selling the current...
