First trimming flights of my new Y6. After the X quad I had before, the Y6 seems like it will need longer to get right. I have found its very sensitive to the wind compaired to my quad, it only takes a slight breese to upset it. I will have to try and tweek it some more.

My KK board has been retired to a backup quad, this Coptercontrol board trumps the KK board in all areas so far. I like the Contour GPS, and shoot in the 720HD 30fps because my ageing laptop can handle the format :-)

No FPV, but it would have been very handy. The Cub pilot was our very talented Jonathan (he later tried a quad and on his first flight with one he was looping it !), so I had total faith in his skills.

Speaking of Cubs, here is my latest attempt at air air video.

The out of focus was in fact the camera mount.. a lesson there.. always check your new layout before taking to the air :-)

Got to love the videos, its like touring the world, so many great sights from all over the globe from 100 feet up :-) After only a few days after making a video on the beach in the sun, today I went out in the snow... thats Dunedin for you. The quad was very shaky, the combo of stong winds...

I have been flying with foam and balsa for 4 years, so having to replace only one prop after crashing onto some rocks with a multirotor is a revaluation !!

Like other things on the beach, it tricky to keep the sand away from places that it should not be :-) No pics, I am afraid my quad is a very simple beast compared to others on this forum.

Thats interesting, I am new to Multi's and Gyros in general and I have had the same problem with my KK board quad. Now that I am getting a little cocky flying the thing, if I do a loop or even a hard turn the board loses its lock and I have to hold a stick or sticks over to hover, I thought it...
