Did you set the 550 in manual movie mode and focus on infinity? Being new to aerial photography I used Auto mode, which I am sure was the wrong way. I read where someone used infinity focus and other settings that I can't remember. Thanks for your reply.

I tried my 550D on my Turbo Ace quad, but the video was blurry. Are you having any luck getting good video's with the 550D? If so what is your technique if you don't mind sharing? I have the Hero 2 and going to order Hero 3. I believe the 550D will produce much better stills than the Hero...
