The new props, shown in that video, have been working great for me the last couple weeks. I don't know if they are putting them in new kits or if there are just lots of old kits out there. They should include them in the kits and maybe make an 8 inch version for those that want it.

For RTH you need a receiver that supports configurable fail safe settings. The basic 6 channel spektrum receivers don't. I think the cheapest one that does is a AR7010, that's what I'm using. I know that wasn't your question but just hope I can save you from possibly ordering the wrong receiver...
