Predictions for 2016, let's hear yours!

The year is almost over and we can check now ... well not 3h but 2,5: Not 120km/h average speed, but at least I can get 100km/h average speed (with payload): And finally something to lift: All the best for 2017 best regards Ferdinand

From my point of view, eta comes from propellers not from motors. The graph on the web-page shows the falcon 28" propellers, so possibly they are that good. That would be really great, since according to their data, you could add 1kg payload and still fly for 151 min. A number on a web-page is a...

The more you are close to the power limit of the copter, the more you have "altitude loss" problems in forward flight. Also I assume you have a cam underneath you copter, I would try to place the batteries a litte bit more up and/or foreward, even to move the CG a few cm towards the nose of the...

I have only tattu, which I have to admit are not of the quality I was used to from Gensace before. I have e.g. 4packs of 6S7000 which give me only 5300-5500mAh useable, packs have only a few cycles and already feel "soft". As a comparison I also have now more than three years old gensace...

The Naza is off center, and no problems so far, but compared to the size of the copter it is not far off center. You are right, the escs are under the red heatshrink. best regards Ferdinand

No, still the GEBattery GEB8043125-cell (LiPo) is in the lead. It is a 6S8P which is 6S48000mAh with 4,2kg. And this particular battery is already more than 2 years old and has more than 15 cycles, so with a "fresh" pack there still might be better results. best regards Ferdinand

DJI Phantom 3 Professional Owners' Thread

You not should have this "marching ants", possibly the cam is broken, but I would first try with the SD-card it came with, the Scandisc extreme is too slow (expecially in writing). Scandisk "extreme pro"is what you are looking for.

Fuel Cell, 2 hours, and a Go Pro

I am too lazy to set the timestamp correctly each time. The video is from late December, the date is in the title. The specs are close to my last 129min video, more ore less a new frame, and cam+vtx onboard. U8-135kv foxtech surpreme 28x8 Hobbywing esc, Naza V1 DYI frame That is the copter of...

Fuel Cell, 2 hours, and a Go Pro

No video so far, but for 2h with a GoPro on Gimbal I no not need a Fuel cell. Here one of my failed attempts where almost everything failed, sdcard-full, onboard cam failed, copter crashed (I did press the wrong button), and I need a cam with less viewing angle but it shows the direction...

What Would Make a Better FPV Experience?

if you fly and enjoy the view from above, the sunset, the close look on the treetops, HD is great, to me best viewed with a cinemizer. But if you race, fly fast with aerobatics HD would be great, but the current lag (even if it is 0,1s) is not acceptable. also during a race there is no time to...

    Power Systems for Industrial Heavy-Lift

Flighttime (with 20kg battery) is 30min with 20kg payload (60kg AUW) 20min with 40kg payload (80kg AUW) should be 10min with 80 kg payload (120kg AUW) but that I have not tested so far. best regards Ferdinand
