You can easily cut them to the size you like with a mitre saw.
I made my heat sinks a bit smaller than the existing piece of alloy and cut the heat shrink around the sink.

I had the same problem as your 2nd picture. Two screw heads hitting each other...
You have to countersink the holes on the inside to allow the head of the screws to sit flush with the frame.
PH had this problem early last year and say they fixed it in June 2011. I purchased mine in februari...
Mode 1 has the Throttle and Aileron on the right stick. The Elevator and Rudder are on the left stick. The default mode in China.
Mode 2 has the Aileron and Elevator on the right stick. The Throttle and Rudder are on the left stick. This is the default mode in the U.S and Europe.

Hmm, I got a faulty pot when I purchased my AV 130 a couple of months ago, e-mailed Kim Atwell at PH to ask him where to get a pot like that. This is what he told me.
I had a Hitec HS-475HB lying around and stripped it. Worked for me.

These pots are standard amongst RS servos. If you have any old servo or even just purchase a cheap servo and remove the pot from and solder the wires the same as the faulty pot you have.
