    KeyMission 360

Not too impressed with the joins and light drop off at the edges which turn into a slightly underexposed central band, with missing imagery. It needs two more cameras, preferably 6 in all. The joins won't be too much of a problem when up in the air a few metres, but the band means careful...

I haven't updated, same fears as you, although horizon drift is a problem, so am tempted.

    Zenmuse GH4 Owners thread

I hope you read the earlier part of this thread where I said we were only having problems in cold weather. First we had the whole gimbal replaced free, then when that didn't work either, we waited for the new HDMI board to be released, then fitted that ourselves to save time and sending the...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Can anyone confirm which pins to get power for the Connex from the Z15? Shouldn't be too hard to make my own Z15 mounting bracket. I can't quite make it out from the video screen grab.

    Wookong Optical Flow/Ultrasonic sensor?

What chance is there of getting DJI to make an Optical Flow/Ultrasonic sensor? Surely an obvious can-bus accessory candidate for Wookong/A2/Naza. I was needing to hover near rocks which were cutting out GPS reception the other day, and this would have been a great way of making my S900/Wookong...

    Caa in-20141/181

I'm about to submit an ENSF for the first time. Do you submit 3 on different days hoping that one of those days will have the right weather & be flyable? I see no option on the form to include more than one, or do you choose a window of 3 days?

How tight or loose do the blades need to be to get the greatest benefit?

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

That's a good idea. How do you power the Connex if attached to gimbal? Would be fairly easy to make something similar

    YouTube 4K videos

I uploaded a 4k test and it was available on 4k, 1080, 720, 480 so I don't think it's a problem. My internet connection is not fast enough to view it without buffering, but full screen on a 27" iMac it looks pretty good. GH4+S900+Z15

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

It's a bit inconvenient not being able to go more than about 450º in either direction, but not really a problem. I turn the gimbal 360º clockwise (seen from above) before turning on the machine, knowing it will unwind to a neutral position on initialisation.

The new HDMI board is here and fitted. Can anyone tell from looking at the boards what's different? The only thing I can spot is the lack of covering on the chips. Maybe this just allows enough temperature from the chips to warm up the other components? Here are a few pix in case you are fitting...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

I can confirm from yesterday's test flights that having a 5.8ghz FPV/pilot's camera transmitting as well as the Connex is no problem. I got a perfect image on both screens throughout.

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

At last I got the chance to go and test the Connex. I got to 450m without any issues, even though I don't have the aerials set up correctly. As 500m is my max permitted distance and I rarely go beyond 300m, this seems pretty robust. I can't get it to work on 50Hz PAL with the GH4 though, but I'm...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

The beta cable supplied needed about 1mm shaving off the connector to clear the gimbal, which was easy to do with a scalpel. As Fabien says, you can use a Lightbridge cable. The HDMI cable is thin and bendy a bit like the Hyperthin brand, and includes a neat threaded screw to keep it securely...
