Some of you may have seen Stephen "Sleepy" Cinch's review of our plate designs back in June of 2015. We've since updated our line to include 4 main models: the F1, F2, F3 and F6. All model kits come with high-grade 2.5mm thick center plates (3k toray carbon fiber); rectangular aircraft aluminum...

    Falcon Drone System Frame plates.

I'm flying w/ 8.5kg w/ trips and have had no issues... Sleepy, do you think carbon fiber trips would fix the issue on the bigger rigs?

The triple props are Tarot 15.52 nylon props w/ KDE 3520 400KV motors... The smaller copter has no-name T style CF 14.55s on top and 13.65s on bottom; they're mated to DYS 4114 400KV motors.

I offer both aluminum and CF... The aluminum mounts cost a little more than the CF. These mounts are $19.99.

    XAircraft SuperX

Zeal tape is a thick sticky gel... The best way to install is to cut 4 small pieces and stick them under the 4 corners of the SX FC.

    XAircraft SuperX

I have the same gains as Sleepy... Another trick you might employ is to use Zeal tape on the FC. It works wonders with the SX in windy conditions. I was amazed at how much more stable the copter flew in the wind w/ the Zeal tape installed.

    The Future of Propeller Technology

So if a motor is spec'd to spin a max prop size of 15, can it handle 15 trips or should you step down in size?

    Samsung NX1

Thanks for the response, Old Man. I've taken your advice and decided to go coax... just to be safer.

    Samsung NX1

If you're invested heavily in another brand's glass, then it makes sense to stay with cams are that are compatible. I'm starting fresh, as I've sold most of my Nikon stuff, so it doesn't matter so much to me. I'm really leaning towards this cam, but I'm gonna wait until after NAB... surely we'll...

    Samsung NX1

Indeed... I recently experienced an ESC burn out while flying an 800 class X8... it seems the Xrotor 50A ESCs don't play well with KDE 4014s. But the SX flight controller didn't flinch. I landed her safely, completely unscathed. I may compromise and go with a Y6.

Agreed... BTW, I'm considering a beefy quad for my aerial rig (KDE 4014s, 17.55s... AUW around 7kg). Would you trust a quad, or would you recommend a coax?

    Samsung NX1

Bart I'm considering purchasing the NX1 to fly on my next build; that or the GH4. But from what I've read, the NX takes better stills and has better ISO performance than the Pana. It's roughly the same size, 10 grams less in fact. Of course it shoots 4K internally, but it records in the new...
