    Rotating Hexa

Stefan what flight controller are you using also what transmitter are you using? is it possible that the radio is set up for an airplane and if so it may have an auto yaw control in it to compensate for the torque that causes an airplane to yaw when under power for climbing and take off. Now...

    Rotating Hexa

Full throttle only???, and clock wise, I would say the rotation is from addional power in you ccw motors, look at thier levels, check to make sure your transmitter yaw trim is centered out, and that you calibarated all the esc to your transmitter, even if you have i would do it again.

    Tarot T810 build log

Denis I am a fan on the battery on the bottom for a few reason but if you put it on the top keeping the weight close to the frame it does on make a big difference however with that said I have found it the past if you put the batteries on the top and have your compass close, the compass...

    Tarot T810 build log

Denis I would start with the ESC, so what I have done in the past is take the motor wires and hook them to the motor ESC next to the one in question, take the one in question and wire the motor to the esc you took the motor from. See if the problem follows the ESC, in a lot of cases I believe...

    Flipping during landing :(

Also when it come to batteries make sure the lipo chemical rating is in the SP1 rate, this is a better quality compound and will allow you to run them down a little better, if not you will end up puffing after 25 - 30 cycles, example for this is Turnigy Nano-Tech, I have not used a ton of...

    Tarot T810 build log

Hey Guys I am just getting caught up on this feed and looking through it I can throw in a few things. I have built a few 810 and for what I have had with the copter I can say this. Over all its a very good design, if flies great, and to me its a work horse, I have had it up in winds over 25mph...

Ready to Fly and flight tested mid to heavy lift octo, Tarat X8 unbrella fold.

a few photos during a flight with the large brushless gimbal mounted, with a 16000 mha I was able to get 15 min flight time out of it. On this day the winds were between 8 and 12 kts gusting 16. The copter performed with no issues.

Ready to Fly and flight tested mid to heavy lift octo, Tarat X8 unbrella fold.

If you are looking for a DJI alternative then this is a good place to start, Tarot X8 Octo copter with retractable landing gear, and new designed DJI s1000/EVO folding propellers. Retractable Landing Gear Question

dtw no worries I did not know how in depth you where you were in your copters, I will take a good look at the gear over the next day and let you know but my over all I am pretty sure there is not an adjustment, but also my camera is hanging pretty decent below them. best

    Retractable Landing Gear Question

On the retract they do not go any higher but in general they should not cause to much of an issues on getting in the picture for a few reasons. A good amount of time you will be above what ever the subject is, the camera in these case will be pointing more downward then horizontal. If the camera...

Tarot X8 - (Frame name not the configuration) 1050 octo

Wizprod I have something to say about that and let me point out there are a few other guys out there building this frame and reporting back what they have going on. From what I have seen and read from their notes, vibration has not seemed to be an issue yet. If the dampers end up being a...

    Retractable Landing Gear Question

first flight, for the time I separated out the gears power supply with a little 3s battery. The gear and the copter did fine. I may appear in the video for clips, I would say I'm a little dressed down. :)

Tarot X8 - (Frame name not the configuration) 1050 octo

Alvinl The motor mounts frame, are aluminum the plate the motors sit on are carbon fiber, On this build I have T-motor 4012 340kv, I like the motors and for the size the 15 inch carbon fiber props fall in their wheel house, on take off the copter is around 14 lbs, including 2 5300 mha (6s)...

    Retractable Landing Gear Question

Thanks everyone I just want to get back with you, Looking at the way the system lays out I believe they most likely have some type of regulator with the gear. Along with the 2 legs, and 2 motors, there is a junction box that takes a pwm feed from the receiver to active the lifting and dropping...

Tarot X8 - (Frame name not the configuration) 1050 octo

Yes its confusing the frame name of Tarots new line of frames start with an "X" (x4, x6, x8). I have not built a new frame in a while but here it is. As when I started building tarot products a few years ago, like them this one is also no disappointment. It's carbon fiber, aluminum arms -...

Lightbridge and 2 man set up

I am not promoting this but its a good look at what other have done for exactly what you are asking about, note toward the end of the video he talks a little about channel hopping in each of the devices The other way is this but it will leave you both tethered to the LB groundstation, you...
