Yea I read that but if you can't fly due to weather and you have 7 batteries to condition, there is no way you can just leave the I1 on! It takes like 5 hours per pack to drain them just sitting there! There has to be a better way. Like a resistor, a light bulb or something!

Right but if you NOW want to fly to turn off the "smart discharge" after a FEW days you have to take the battery to 5%, and then charge full. So how are people discharging their packs to 5% so they can then fully charge them.

Anyone have a method to run a battery down (safely) without flying them? I charged a bunch up for a shoot and the weather turned, It's been days of 50 mph winds, no chance tofly. I used to use light bulbs and resistors, but have no idea how they would apply to the smart batt. Anyone have a way...

Triblades SUCK for X8's, Try that rig again with 2 blade carbon props. All the tri-blades use props that FLEX way to much for the bottom props... I had a rig that would hardly fly with 3 blades, and was glass with 2 blade carbon props. BIG Hexacrafter listing 7 - 10 lbs.

Q500. It was probably 4 months ago.. some dude had one at a flying I went to, and I checked it out.. wasn't impressed. P3 blows it away. And I think the 4K is just the same thing with a 4K cam... P3 is the cats meow. (man do I hate to say that)

I flew this rig a few months back, it was OK. It flys fine, and the footage is "OK" but the over all quality and "feel" is no where close to the Phantom 3, and especially the Inspire 1.

What controller board are you using? Is the gimbal brushless or servo driven? Need way more info!

I'd look at the Hexacrafter frame. Much more solid than a Grafton. www.hexacrafter.com probably the best frames made. Also, U7's like 16" props not 18".

With regard to flitetest, they are not really selling their footage for a profit per say, they are selling video of them enjoying the hobby. Meaning they don't sell the footage to a second party.

The flashing yellow tells you it's in return to home RTH mode. Check your switches and or mixes... The 3 position switch that changes from Manual - Atti - GPS uses a mix to work. If you adjusted an end point or canceled the mix, your FC could be stuck in RTH.
