How are altitude limits sensed by the DJI Naza hardware?

I'm sorry, but for the GPS units we're using, this is just incorrect. Most RTK (real-time kinematic), or survey grade GPS units can barely obtain sub-meter accuracy in the horizontal (altitude). A Naza GPS measuring "within a meter or so of actual altitude" is just not going to happen...

    f450 battery question

How much were you putting into the 2200maH battery after your 8-9 minute flights with it?

    3D Software

The major ones that I know of are Pix4D and Autodesk Recap. Pix4D is quite accurate from what I understand, but also quite pricey. I've used ReCap a fair bit, and while it's free, they do limit you to only 50 photos per upload. If you try it out, it works best with Hero3+ photos, not...

F550 with Maytech carbon fiber props

I put some CF 1033 arms on my F550 this past weekend, with horrible results. It was barely flyable - if it didn't flip on takeoff, it would change elevation quickly all by itself. It was also really twitchy with pitch or roll inputs. I didn't balance my props, so I'll try that next. The only...

    Cooked 2212 Motor?

Yeah, all I did was remove the four motor mounting screws, and the prop nut. Pulled the prop off, and spun the motor by hand. A couple of spins and the clicking seems to have cured itself. The props are all newly installed, and the previous ones were the plastic self-tightening variety. Maybe I...

    Cooked 2212 Motor?

Well, I pulled the offending motor off, and everything appeared to be fine. Once I removed the prop and the mounting screws, the clicking went away. I've put it back together, and it seems to be spinning freely like the others. Not sure what changed, but it seems alright now? As far as figuring...

    Cooked 2212 Motor?

I picked up a used, RTF F550 a few weeks back, and had it flying successfully. The Tarot 2-D gimbal on it wasn't working, so I had to do some work to get that up & running, but I got it. It flew fine, but I never did figure out what all the switches on my Walkera Devo 7 actually did. I stuck...
