    Show your FPV video

Thanks! here is my latest FPV adventure... smacked in to a branch at 2:41 on the video here and this morning (9/5) we moved to the east side of the park lost video signal while on the "death star" alley, caught a glimpse of an opening and I banked towards it next thing I know I'm caught on the...

    Show your FPV video

Second week of FPV flying... getting more comfortable, pushing it a bit more! result from impact at 1:40 (we both lucked out) quads stayed in the air and completed that flight with no problem... my buddy's CF props are very strong and did not show signs of the impact, the foot peg on my right...

Lead Quad: Roberto - DeadCat frame with DJI arm mod, APM 2.5 arducopter 3.0.1 Chase Quad: Ro - TBS Disco, Naza M GPS As you can see from my camera view (lead quad), I still need to sort out the dampening, just picked up some moongel so that should be fixed soon. This is my first true full...

    DJI Release 5.22 Firmware

Thanks Tom, I am using spektrum though my buddy also updated and is getting the same flux in values and is using an Aurora 9... it's very possible that we have dirty posts but it just occurred to me that we may need to calibrate the TX again from the new GUI. Will try that tonight and if that...

    DJI Release 5.22 Firmware

Test flew the WKM with the new 5.22 firmware and despite seeing the TX stick position values jumping on the GUI as described on my previous post (is anyone else getting this flux in values without touching the sticks?) I saw no change in flight characteristics from 5.20 to 5.22 took it easy on...

    DJI Release 5.22 Firmware

Hi Guys, just upgraded to the new GUI and 5.22 firmware form 5.20 without thinking twice (did not occur to me to research first :upset:) no issues with the update though right off the bat I noticed the values on the TX stick positions on the interface where jumping +- 2 to 3 points without...

Hey thanks for the tip, I'm still new to all this video for production stuff! ha... this was done on iMovie :) GP 2 and 3 is all I had available for this shoot (gotta start somewhere) still images where taken by a photographer sometime last year.

    My brushless gimbal result

Seeing some great videos here!!! here is one that was shot this morning, no post stabilization also, not the best day to shoot but wanted to run some more test flights on this cool new gimbal. First minute is without camera operator... you can see him running across the bottom right of the frame...

    My brushless gimbal result

Hi Ken, I did do the basic calibration with bubble level on roll as you mentioned.... I am confused also on the (preferred) method. gonna try the basic calibration again before I try this 5 face thing.

    My brushless gimbal result

http://www.simplebgc.com/eng/downloads/ they have 1.3 and 1.2 GUI's I downloaded both, my board reads version 1.2b1 so I'm using the 1.2 interface. As far as voltage... I find that on my GP3 since its a light camera 2s with slightly adjusted power settings is working fine, heavier cameras...

    My brushless gimbal result

Hi Guys, loving this gimbal already... this is the unedited (of course no post stab) straight out of the GP3 second and third test flights, first was still getting the power settings down so she had the shakes (thanks Ken for the power settings tip!). I have a camera operator (getting tilt happy...

    My brushless gimbal result

Ken,thanks for your reply... Very informative!!! So true about the narrow PID window settings that work for a particular setup. The motor power settings where the only ones I left as is, makes total sence now as weight was reduced. Should I stick with 2s for the GoPro3 or make it all work on...

    My brushless gimbal result

Just got a chance to play around with this gimbal... on 3s it gets a pretty good case of the shakes/oscillation even after adjusting PID (maybe I just need to spend more time playing with the settings) though when I go 2s it behaves as expected and very stable. Did balance (gopro3) on the gimbal...

Great! I should have one of these coming my way, looking forward to testing it out... this current servo driven gimbal I'm using is just not cutting it.
