I have a very nice charger that I assumed is always balancing them. Is there a step I am missing? Maybe a discharge, then recharge? Just seems weird. I think from here out I will just rely on my timer more than the alarm. I was just eager to see when it sounded off. Thanks for your input.

i charge my 5500mah batteries at 5amps, the max it goes. My point is that I have never had any problems until i decided to stop flying when the alarm went off. I think I probably did some damage to the battery running it to the 3.3 volts the alarm sounds at. Great!

I purchased the graupner 11x5's and the apc 11" and 12" props. The 12" APC SF props have been the best. I have no vibrations at all. Seem very strong. I am also running 3s so the 12" seems perfect for me.

I took my ratchets out and regret it. The sliders now move so easily all you have to do is literally blow on them and the camera twitches. My next step is to solder a joystick externally from the radio using the pots from these sliders. This way someone else can do the smooth gimbal work...

I feel the challenge is that the light is normally right at your back. Unless you want uneven lighting, that puts direct glare at the screen. Maybe we need a large sun shield we can set up behind us, it can also have a sign that says, "keep your god damned kids away from me." kidding.
