Hi Robert the WKM manual mode works the same as the APM2 in Acro mode, so it just uses the gyros I occasionally fly the WKM manual mode on my Octo just for a quick burn around :) and have it on a separate switch in case things go wrong with the stabilisation or throttle of the WKM I can switch...

You have to download the software assistant 1.26 then go to firmware upgrade in the tools menu.. It should then load 5.08. Dont upgrade to the latest software when asked http://download.dji-innovations.com/downloads/wkm/en/WooKongMInstaller_1.26.exe

Well if you read through the posts, it doesn`t say anywhere that the jitter is a problem and will be fixed only that people are not tuning it right? and they are writing into the code, self tuning PID`s

As far asI am concerned you are safe to fly on 5.08, I am at the moment until the new firmware is released. I expect to retune all gains though after upgrading?

You are not alone with these problems.. I started a thread on this.. Anyone flying an Octo with a Traditional receiver has had these problems and I think most have crashed due to motors going full throttle or stopping.. I think I was the only one that managed to save the machine after motors M7...

I have since spoken to the friend in question, and he is not sure if he dropped the throttle under 10% by accident? as he was flying with fpv goggles at the time and couldn`t see his hands? So this cannot be confirmed as hardware error? it could have been user error?

Thanks to everyone so far... I have just noticed that DJI has announced that they have found a problem with Octo and Traditional receiver "again" I will see if I can speak to them tomorrow, and see what the issue was? and if they still require this information?

I am not 100% sure but I think people using SBUS seem to have escaped problems?
