Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

I would say Berate is not the term to use here and I personally think they are neat but that's where I draw the line. I think it would be more truthful to market them as BLING... nothing more, nothing less.

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

Like I said, I clearly understand the cost associated with doing C&C work in the US. I do it weekly and have been for 13 years now. I too believe in keeping my production in the US so your preaching to the Choir on this topic. With that said, as the remaining craft is all Chinese built, I doubt...

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

Bruce I completely understand that. I do my own CAD work for my (non RC related) business and have many custom items C&C milled from Billet 6061 aluminum stock. I know the associated costs with doing this. Even though I am an engineer with a business degree that has been involved in RC flight...

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

This is a very odd marketing move.... $27.99 vs $4.00 for the same length arm. I would have gone longer but looked at the cost of doing this and it just wasn't feasible. I would forget about any advantages at this point and sell it for what it is. an anodized aluminum arm with bling. Some people...

Good... That will allow DJI's 5.8GHz downlink TX to fit with room for the fan to move some air. I was a bit concerned as some of the aftermarket arms like the RCT's are so thin you can't get anything between the frames.

*These arms are slightly shorter in height than the stock DJI arms. The measurement that is between the 2 plates when the arms are installed. Basically the maximum height that accessories can be and still fit between the top and bottom plate.

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

Still looking for the height specs. *These arms are slightly shorter in height than the stock DJI arms. For frames such as the stock DJI Flamewheel frames where the arms determine the distance between the boards, this is not an issue. For frames that have a fixed height due to other...

I may have missed it... What is the lower height of these arms? I have a Y6 frame I would like to upgrade but need the adapters which are not available yet for the bottom motors.

Well, That video answered a question I had... Do the aluminum arms resonate the motor noise... OMG!. I am not high frequency deaf and I would have to wear ear plugs to fly that.

No doubt... Power to weight ratio is nice.

    DJI X8 Options

I make them using my mill and lathe I use old broken DJI arms. The flight time of an X8 is barely affected. With my Phantom and a 3S 4400 battery I get 15 minutes vs 17 minutes. The lifting capacity is more than double though. Try to lift 2 pounds with a stock Phantom... It can't. This is 4.55...

    DJI X8 Options

The legs are milled off so that the surface is flat with the existing arm The second mount is milled flat then put in the lathe to true it up. I us 12mm Carbon Fiber tubing now to hold the 2 pieces in alignment which is a press fit and damn nears keeps them in place but 2 set screws are used...

    DJI X8 Options

I have built a few X8's by either modifying the DJI arm and adding an additional mount or using Tarot mounts, 16mm CF tubing and milling some old broken DJI arms. Using 16mm X 320mm CF tubing I can cut them in half for an F450 or use the whole length for an F800 This is the results...

The Phantom is not an investment, it's a hobby unless you were planning to use it illegally for filming. While your parking things, tell me what you drive. I have access to every cars recall and technical service bulletins... this is if you really want something to be afraid of.

Sorry, but that figure is coming from a thread at RCG where a hand full of inexperienced children are rallying up anyone and everyone they can find to vote there, not to mention the thousands not having a spec of trouble are not going to that thread. In over 40 years of flying I have left...
