WKM M Altitude problems

Hi all, I have just build a new 8x 400 kv 13,4.5 blades.
I'm having altitude trouble with the Wookong M V5.26.
I started with 6s. Flies wonderful but in GPS and Atti mode the Altitude is all over the place.
I then tried 4s to see if the rig is over powered. Still flies nice but same problem.
At one point it shot up 100+ meters without and input.
I have tested the rig for vibration as this can cause Altitude issues but it is very low vibration.
Also when landing slowly it sometimes slams into the ground, same issue.
Can't get my head around this one.
The higher the Altitude gain the worse it gets. Gain right down to 50% and still very jumpy.
Any ideas?
p.s. Using Custom setup as the Dji default is terrible.

Throttle Yaw Pitch Roll
M1 100 100 ‐50 ‐50
M2 100 ‐100 ‐50 50
M3 100 100 50 50
M4 100 ‐100 50 ‐50
M5 100 ‐100 ‐50 ‐50
M6 100 100 ‐50 50
M7 100 ‐100 50 50
M8 100 100 50 ‐50

thanks
Anthony

Lots of reported issues with firmware 5.26.......
You won't find many, if any, complaints about fw 5.20.

In my case I flew my hex for over 150 flights w/o incident, then sold it and the buyer completed over 100 flights w/o incident.
May I suggest you roll it back to 5.20 and try again.

Not that many issues on 5.26. You appear to have quite an odd issue. Reflash the firmware at what ever level you wish but if it continues go back to your supplier. Personally I would do that now anyway as the symptoms you describe are far from normal- dodgy firmware or not.

I have re-flashed V5.0 and it is now flying well. I will try 5.62 again. perhaps the firmware became corrupt.
Thanks gtranquilla and Carapau.

Sounds good...... whereas there are some nice new features in 5.26 I only tried it on a build for a friend and for some reason the MR immediately crashed so I lost faith.
As I mentioned before I had great success with 5.20 but then sold my MR.
