Is there any technical reason I may not be aware of that would prevent me from doing it this way?
Can I full assemble the frame, I mean permanently with locktite on everything before getting ESCs and motors, etc....?
I have an mQX and I "fly" (I use that term loosely) an mCPX. Now, I want a Flame Wheel.
I need to figure out the best way to do it on a budget though. I am thinking about buying it piece by pice and assembling it slowly to at least feel like I am doing something with it besides stuffing money...

I've been hearing about XAircraft. I have not been able to find much info about them.
Also, if i go with the Flame Wheel, are there reasons as to why I should take a 450 instead of a 330?

Hello everyone! I am in Rockford, Illinois and saw a Flame Wheel 450 at the local hobby shop the other day. I was immediately drawn to it. I am now on a tireless quest to find the perfect quad rotor for me. ($ willing)
I can say I am hooked, and can't wait to be up and flying!

I am looking to make a move into a quad rotor, and I am also looking for as much guidance as possible. I know very little about them, and am learning by the bound everyday. I currently fly a mCX2 with a DX6i, and am considering buying a 120sr to hold me over until I figure out what quad I want...
