In manual mode, motors won't stop unless you do CSC.

In intelligent mode, if you lean it over 70 degree and throt 10% below, in Atti/GPS mode, motors will stop right away. The purpose is to protect the motors if it is tipped over in an accident.

In manual mode, the motors are directly driven via your Throt stick. The gains you are tuning are for Atti/GPS mode. If you want to tame manual mode, use EXP. It's working fine. You need to set the center postion of pitch servo.

You need to preset the fail safe value in your Tx/rx. All channels of Rx should be able to set fail safe.

I'd like to use Intelligent mode. At least, when Throt is below 10%, the aircraft is still in balance, but not one side down in Immediate mode.

BTW, the datalink you can have are 900Mhz and 2.4G whichever you like. Size is much smaller and compact than the Ace Waypoint datalink.

No need 3g card at all. You just need to load the map at home online, zoom in the place where you are going to fly, then go to the field. GCS will go to offline mode and use the cache in your pc.
