Motor / ESC Screeching or high pitch whine

Thanks Mojave! Your T80A's sound much nicer. T Motors have just responded. Evasively. They said to bench test them together. Not a great answer. I've asked them again as I really don't want to spend hours rebuilding.

Motor / ESC Screeching or high pitch whine

Thanks Bex. It's amazing how many issues can cause very similar symptoms.

Motor / ESC Screeching or high pitch whine

I know he did, however, I need to know from Tmotors, and they haven't replied to my query yet. All I've seen online is every reseller stating "Flame Pro 80A can also be used with U7 Power series motors on 6s only." My skyjib was specced up by Multirotorcraft with the u7 motors and the Flame 80A...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Anyone tried the new Flame 80A T-Motor Esc's on U7 motors?

Thanks Andrew, I really appreciate the advice. I'm using two Aeronavics PDB 8's connected in parallel. Should do the job.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Anyone tried the new Flame 80A T-Motor Esc's on U7 motors?

Thanks Andrew, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Now I understand the context of your relationship with T-motors and the fact that you're a dealer (sorry, I missed your signature earlier!), that's good enough for me. Damn! Damn! Damn! I was hoping it might be just a timing issue, or...

Motor / ESC Screeching or high pitch whine

Did you solve this Bexacopter? I have the same problem with u7 motors and flame 80a escs on a 6s.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Anyone tried the new Flame 80A T-Motor Esc's on U7 motors?

Oh. According to https://www.electricwingman.com/t-motor-flame-80a-opto-esc it runs ok with the u7 with 6s lipos. Have you seen a reference to t motors saying it doesn't work? Thx

Aeronavics / Droidworx Anyone tried the new Flame 80A T-Motor Esc's on U7 motors?

My U7's are screeching on my skyjib x4 xl, A2, Flame T80A. Anyone experienced this? Is there a fix? Is sounds like metal against metal but I could be wrong.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Anyone tried the new Flame 80A T-Motor Esc's on U7 motors?

I'm just calibrating my Flame T80A ESCs on my Skyjib, and the throttle calibration doesn't seem to store. I put the throttle stick to full, apply power to receiver and ESC, wait for the 2 beeps, put the stick to the bottom, another beep, then it works fine..... Except. When I switch the receiver...

Adding an additional SUA to PFAW

If only I could like Like twice on your response! :-) Thanks Carapau. I was hoping that was the case. If anyone has strong links with the CAA you do, so I trust your judgement on the matter.

Adding an additional SUA to PFAW

Does anyone know what is required in order to add a 2nd aircraft to a PFAW, since the recent changes? Obviously, update the ops manual. But then what? Send in to EuroUSC or the CAA? Do EuroUSC still require a flight exam? (I'm awaiting a response from them).

Aeronavics / Droidworx Longest flight time from Lipos

Thanks guys. It's looking like I'll get the most flight time with my 16Ah packs then.

Sorry. Just spotted your post! What cargo is it carrying? Thanks.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Proposed SkyJib X4 Build

Ouch, that's not ideal. Then again at -20C I'm amazed you're flying at all. Not just the lipos, I bet your fingers are freezing! I've got a few 16,000's so I'll let you know what time I get when I've built it. We've bought a Movi M5 with the MR adapter. We'll see how that goes.

Aeronavics / Droidworx Proposed SkyJib X4 Build

Thanks Teecee. Did you end up trying both 16000 and 10000 pairs? What flight times have you been experiencing, carrying which gear? Thx
