What things can I to to be able to increase the roll gains? Ultimately this has been and still is my issue with the skyline. The Roll oscillates so easily that I can not turn up the gains. This results in a slow response and shifting horizons.
The jitter situation seems much improved but...
1.2.2 is installed and working properly on the 2 axis CineStar gimbal. The roll seem to still respond a bit slow but improved for sure. I'll get it off the bench and into the air soon and report back with raw video.
I assume it is but will the dumby pots be needed for the CineStar gimbal with cinestar (freefly) servos (which, I believe are modded Savox anyways)
I searched a bit but didn't find a clear answer to the question.
We were tuning the skyline for a clients project with his GH2. This "disco" space is for rent for events in the city. The "point" was to benefit the community and show another skyline video without post-stab for evaluation. No intent to impress or awe you, just to add some of my test result...
Need some help
Just received my Skyline and It seems dead. Nothing happens. I followed the instructions, selected the proper COMx port (4 in my case) and I cannot seem to get the computer to recognize the Skyline.
What am I doing wrong? or did I get a dud?
CS8 is in the air!
I have the CS8 airborne. I plugged in to view my gains and I'm surprised at how high they are. 383 383 300 250. I am experiencing a tail-wag with YAW and also altitude fluctuation when applying YAW.
Current setup is:
CS8 with 2 axis CS gimbal
Graupner 11x5
Avroto...
I just finished my CS8 and want to maiden as soon as I can get a break in the weather. My starting weight is about 5kg. Where would you guys suggest I start out with my gains for the WKM? Thanks in advance
