Hi BK. This is a real shot in the dark ... a ten year old forum that no one ever visits anymore. Due to the 450 character limit, this message is split into several parts.

Part 1: I am getting severely frustrated with SIX Z15's that have ALL developed a video output/shutter problem. Some have no video and no shutter, some have no video but shutter works. The GH4's are the flakiest. I have about six replacement HDMI boards and NONE of them make any difference.

Part 2: The same goes for Z15-BMPCC ... suddenly no video and no shutter. No change with new cable, no change with new HDMI board. My (previously trusty) Z15-GH3 displays video until the shutter is operated! There appears to be a firmware update that addresses this specific issue, but it never...

Part 3: DJI (I HATE THAT COMPANY) has been extremely energetic in absolving itself of ANY responsibility or involvement whatsoever. I cannot find ANYONE who has experience of Z15 foibles. Do you have any ideas?

Anyone tried it yet? The GH5 is bigger and 200g heavier than a GH4, so it would be a squeeze. But the biggest problem I see is the HDMI socket which has now changed - yet again - to a standard big fat one. If one could even find a right-angled HDMI to mini or micro adapter, I doubt there is...
