NAZA-M Lite Won't Connect To Assistant

Beware, this is a half cocked response from me but I just had a quick look at the screenshots in post 8 and the comparison file PDF and given everything else you've said you've done, I suspect your problems could lie in using "[I]-AIL/ELE/THR/RUD" rather than "AIL/ELE/THR/RUD". I believe the [I]...

NAZA-M Lite Won't Connect To Assistant

Very confused by the above...have you tried AETR?

Naza V2 will not enter failsafe??

I set up a T8J once, presuming the T10J is the same/similar(?), this is how I did it. 1) Go to your end point menu and adjust the endpoint values on the channel you're using for Flight Control Modes and change the value until Failsafe is activated in the Assistant. 2) Next, position your...

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Good question and lots of confusing answers around. I also don't know, in so far as I've never tried it at less than 50% throttle! If a tx/rx offers a feature which you can utilize though, especially for safety, why wouldn't you use it? Also remember that if you have something operating...

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

The naza controls it. Yes, it's pretty smart! As long as the assistant shows it going into failsafe when you flick your failsafe switch (or turn the tx off), then the naza will do the rest. If you want to regain control/abort failsafe, flick the switch back (or turn the tx on) and switch to a...

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Hey Eric, I'm still on a sub v2 firmware but from what I remember, yes the menus got changed at v2 and post....think it was the templates page that was done away with?

    Wookong Cyan LED Flashes

Yeah, all other LED colours work as normal. Cyan's like a light blue (at least that's what I think it's called!) Same as the colour for POI indicators. Everything works as normal in the Assistant too. Just a bit weird it suddenly appeared for 8 or 9 power cycles, then suddenly yellow green...

    Wookong Cyan LED Flashes

Hey Ben, yeah I'm on 5.26 but have been for a while and yes, I'm used to seeing those home point purples. This was definitely different and definitely cyan rather than purple or failsafe blue. I took a video of it but it turned out so garbage, you can't make out the colour although you can see...

    Wookong Cyan LED Flashes

Hi All, Been flying a couple of wookongs on different craft without issues until yesterday. Then, all of a sudden, about 15 secs after plugging in batteries, I got 2 bursts of 3 quick cyan flashes (a total of 6 flashes with a small pause in the middle). 15 seconds later I got the usual rapid...

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Don't quite understand this bit....nothing happens in the assistant? At all? If so, how can you tell the tx is calibrated right? You are executing CSC presumably? :P

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Let's work backwards from the last question: You arm motors by executing CSC - http://wiki.dji.com/en/index.php/Combination_Stick_Command If it doesn't arm the motors then yes, those numbers could be causing a problem, especially the aileron one. Did you set up a completely new model on the...

    Normal Wookong Behaviour?

Just as a fyi, I finally had a chance to play around with the puck position and indeed, raising it up a bit more made a huge difference. Rock solid 8 sat GPS lock, sometimes, 9. Thanks for the tip!

    Normal Wookong Behaviour?

Ok, thanks for the info. Looks like mine needs to be at least another 40mm up but nice to know it's probably not down to the way it's mounted. Will continue to play around with different standoffs/positions and see whether I can get an improvement. Cheers!

    Normal Wookong Behaviour?

Actually, you could be onto something....it's not mounted on the usual pole (like my naza is) but directly on a carbon plate. The plate is stood off from the main board about 40mm and there's nothing else on the plate. The theory was to try and keep it closer to the COG but could it be to close...

    Normal Wookong Behaviour?

Thanks for the reply Ben (& Ed). I actually do have the iOSD MkII but (stupidly) as it was a first test flight I was trying to keep equipment to the minimum in case of 'unexpected' results! Quickly realised that was the one bit of kit I should defo have on for testing :embarrassed: I threw it on...
