I was hoping that someone might be able to help me narrow down the cause of my yaw issues
My Alexmos 32 bit is performing pretty well when the camera is level but when I point the camera towards the ground it is causing the yaw to perform incorrectly
Please see this short video for a clear...
I guess this is worth noting as well.....I have not done a throttle calibration with my ESCs. They are Maytech 40 amp ESCs which are pre-flashed and my understanding was that it wasn't necessary.
Either way the hexa flies good 98% of the time. If there was a problem with throttle calibration...
I'm hoping the Multi Rotor community can help me diagnose an ongoing problem that I've been having with my latest build.
My hexacopter will fly flawlessly 98% of the time but will intermittently descend to land at least every other flight without responding to any throttle input. RPMs...
I have read other threads saying the same things about Maxamps claims of C-ratings. They might be the only manufacturer that "guarantees" their High C-rating but they never fail to tell you that it's peak and not constant. Very deceptive practice if you ask me. Once I found that out I no longer...
I didn't swap parts. I had two totally separate machines and experienced the same thing with both of them. I believe it's likely caused by the inexpensive DJI Motors and ESCs which is to be expected at the price point in which they are offered.
Raising gains will not cause jello. But then again...
Go at least 200 on the 450 yaw gain. The gimbal is a GotHeliRC two axis gimbal. I've upgraded it since these vids to the 3rd axis but it's far from perfect so far
Flying with a Tarot 810, GotHeliRc 3 axis gimbal, Sony Nex 5n, and Alex Mos controller and I'm having difficulty getting rid of the yaw vibes. Can anyone share their PID settings with me.
Thanks
It's a DJI Naza thing. Believe me I've been there, first with my 450 and the same results with my 550. Ended up pushing my Yaw gain up to 200+ which helped. Because of the yaw oscillations I've invested in a 3rd axis for my gimbal. Now I'm battling jitter in the yaw which I will hopefully tame...
Looking to purchase a new Tarot 810 motor mount assembly. My kit came with one GLOSSY black one which doesn't match the rest and I would like to purchase a black matte finish one like the rest
