Ah, makes perfect sense! Thanks Olemil! I hope my LHS has a Dubro, I'm gonna pick one up tomorrow.

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Here's how we spent out Easter eve... Not all aerial. I took the aerial though with my F450 and Gopro. My nephew took the rest on the ground and did the video edit.

How do you know when to balance the hub as opposed to the blade?

    Orange JR receiver reviews?

yea, after this discussion I've reminded myself to upgrade my ORX 6ch with a fully capable ORX 9ch rcvr. They're only like $24 and I can have loss of signal failsafe as well!

    Orange JR receiver reviews?

Yea, it's the freq. hopping capability. Not a big deal unless you are flying with something like more than 40 other people or something ridiculous like that.

    Orange JR receiver reviews?

One thing about the ORX is I do not believe you can get them in DSMX. Only DSM2.

    Orange JR receiver reviews?

Yes, if you look close you'll see my OrangeRX satellite rcvr on the right rear arm. Err, I misunderstood your question. Yes you have to buy them separate I believe.

    Orange JR receiver reviews?

This rcvr was originally on my 550 class heli. Never had a problem with it. I only fly LOS for now but I've gone as far as 1/4 mile until it was a speck and used RTH to get home...

    £2-3k airframe?

A lot of people may flame me for this because it's an "off-brand" but take a look at the Tarot FY680. Fully foldable 680mm hexa with foldable landing gear (that look great too) It's the frame I'm currently considering seriously after almost clicking "buy" on a CarbonCore 650. I'm looking to...

a newbie looking for a copter for professional gopro filming

Did you end up going with the 2216-900kv motors? I thought I had settled my decision on those as well but ecalc says for my AUW, the 2814-11 gives slightly better efficiency... As far as chargers go, I have the Hyperion 720 net3. It's really cool with a built in power supply and loads of...

    Cleaning a Cinestar 8 after a shoot.

That was kinda creepy, just sayin'. But what did you do to the electronics to protect them?

    Can this really be true?

I have mixed feelings about this topic. I bought myself an inexpensive collective pitch single rotor helicopter to learn how to fly only 2 months ago. 1 month ago I bought a 500 class helicopter and just recently purchased an F450. I did have learning curve with my first collective heli. My...

You can learn orientation safely and quite well with a 450 size quad if it has Naza-M on it. It's incredible how stable it makes a quad. Once you get to the level of packing a DSLR, you'll likely want something like a Wookong or Arducopter, etc.
