    Phantom 2 - feature request

Make sure your assistant and drivers are fully up to date. The newest iteration of the Phantom 2 Assistant allows you to switch between Phantom 2 and NAZA-M assistant modes. Within the NAZA-M side of the assistant, you can switch between tradition, PPM and PWM.

    TBS Discovery Pro

Sorry to hear that but I'm glad I'm not alone. I'm using the TBS 59 FPV, GoPro Hero 3+ Black in the gimbal. I have tried, it seemed to work momentarily but started going crazy once the power cycling starts.

Exactly my thought. As I said, I had no issues before adding the gimbal so I'm just plain confused now..

The vTX is plugged into the vTX plug on the top plate of the Pro frame, following the build manual. I haven't had trouble with it before adding the gimbal to the equation.

    TBS Discovery Pro

Hey guys, I'm building my Pro but I've ran into a snag. I got it all put together, and been flying it around a bit without any trouble. After getting the feel of the Disco, I attached the gimbal and now my I'm running into problems. The quad gives the proper warm up lights, GPS locks, motors arm...

I got an F550 with heavy lift kit last week.Patrick over at AMP was awesome, very knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be there on the 23rd, probably without an FPV system though, but we'll see if I can scrape for one. :D

Hello from SoCal! Noob to Multicopters!

I'll have to create a parts list and price it out. Do you know any good US distributors? I keep finding most are UK/international.

Hello from SoCal! Noob to Multicopters!

That's sweet, I wasn't sure if the 550 would have enough lift force to fly a DSLR. What modifications did you make to it?

Hello from SoCal! Noob to Multicopters!

I'll heed the advice... ;D I'm looking for a rig that is going to be a good starter as well as a decent base to build upon to fly a camera in due time, until I get the Hexacrafter kit, or else I would opt for a quad instead. I'm planning on jumping into this hobby(read: dream career) with both...

Hello from SoCal! Noob to Multicopters!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. Hopefully I'll be able to pull in enough to get the copter and FPV setup before March.

I was talking about the Tiger Motor 2814-10 (770Kv). How would the Tigers compare?
