Hi all, my name is Peter I'm 32yo and a professional (full size) pilot. I have been involved with rc aircraft on and off since I was 12. A few months ago I bought my first multi rotor a DJI F450 and I love it. I just ordered a DW XM-6 frame and am looking at starting an AP business.
Has anyone been down this road with CASA?

Hi,
Where about in Vic are you? I'm in Albury, NSW. I have the XM-6, its simply superb, so I think you've chosen really well. To get certified with CASA, you'll have to obtain an OC. It involves preparation of many things, including an operations manual, safe management and then PLI. GO for it, I'm getting an OC this year, so we can share notes.

I'm on the mornington peninsula. Yes I am aware of the OC and the safety management system, I have been in contact with CASA regarding this, I'm am in the process now of starting the ops manual, CASA have not made it an easy process. Exchange notes for sure, I was thinking getting the skyjib but decided on the XM for now maybe look at something bigger down the track. I just ordered the XM yesterday so I'm not sure how long the delivery times are, I'm thinking of fitting it with the cheaper t motors and the wkm fc only because I have the naza on my f450 and it seems pretty good and user friendly. What have you set you XM up with?
