For the bearings: http://gothelirc.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=122&cat=Bearings ......scroll down a little bit where it says: Replacement bearing for DJI 2212 motor. .......(at the moment out of order)

You can use any high quality bearings in the dimension 3x8x4 (metric)....

http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/kit860
http://www.rcbearings.com/Individual-Bearing/Metric/693-ZZ/

If you want some top quality, try Boca bearings: http://www.bocabearings.com/search....nerOperator==&OuterOperator==&WidthOperator==
The link should show you all options for 8x3x4....

As for retaing clips, I guess they should be for a 3mm shaft, you can try here: (otherwise Google for E-clips 3mm shaft)

Sorry, never took one apart, but I guess the washer is there for a reason. Just be careful when replacing the bearings and use it again.

But how do you get this motor apart?????? Removed the setscrew at one and and the circ-clip at the other end and it still will not come apart. Can't get inside to see if there is an issue or even replace the bearing without getting it apart.

Hey Peter, we take the easy approach and crash em off... only half kidding...:black_eyed:

Don't recall seeing a set screw but will take your word on it - So far the process has been; remove circ clip, find circ clip, discard circ clip, order more circlip. Same with plastic washer which requires prying off gently with small tiny screwdriver, catching the anti-gravity plastic washer, hunting on the floor for the invisible plastic washer, come to understanding that your WAY too old to find said plastic washer, go to computer and order more 20 dollar motors online, go watch tv.

IF however you do manage to find, keep, remove, plastic washer and circ-clip, a very strong tug should lift the housing (and prop) away from the windings. What I don't know is if the pin is a press fit or glued into the housing.

Since there is a very strong magnet in the motor, it can be that you need some moderate force to take them apart. Apart from that, maybe this vids help you to get the bearings off the shaft:

Thanks all..... the feedback is helpful for the most part. But it seems the rotor shaft is jammed into the "bell" so tight that it will never come out. That motor hit the concrete floor hard once during MR testing. I applied heat to the prop end of the bell using a soldering iron in an attempt to expand the bell metal away from the shaft but still no luck. Will now buy a replacement motor and tear this one apart later, if ever!
