Yea that's right, were the Long Island Ice Tea was invented I was there (not) well maybe it was the 70s you know.................:tennis:

About a year ago I started flight training in a Robinson R22. At the same time I bought a RC Coaxial Heli at the hobby shop.Which lead my interest to Multi Rotor Helis and to this forum. Today I want to learn all I can about flying and building these wonderful machines for photo and video work in New York City. Appreciate all help and guidance as to where to get started.

What are you looking to do? Examples could be, sport flying or camera filming or maybe some combination of. Long range? Short range? Give me some ideas...6 propellers, 4? Heavy lifting? Tiny? Aerobatic? I do a combination of sport and filming because I enjoy throwing it around low and fast or some times just filming a sunset. Give me a laundry list and welcome. Buy lots of zip ties, that's your first good solid piece of advice. I recommend black :)

Hello 1976,

Led Zeppelin played Madison Square Garden that year, what a blast............

I am looking to take hi-res photos and videos using RC Gimbel and GPS also pre programmed (term?) flight is important to me i will be doing the work near large groups of people. I was thinking an 8 rotor machine would do the job but what do I know. I do know the type machine I want can be pretty expensive off the shelf I am hoping building one would be an education and also save me a few bucks.........Thanks
