So what happened to the "Ruling" from DJI?

I haven't seen anything else about the "Ruling" controller that DJI had planned the same time as the S800. I wonder if they still plan to put it out? I know I originally heard rumors of prices around the $1,500 range. I wonder if they are still looking for something like that since there are a bunch of other hobby companies now incorporating 2.4 RC and 5.8 FPV w/Monitor into one controller (like the Ruling) and offering it for SO much less.

Something like this is selling for around $250 RTF.

My understanding is that the Ruling is definitely coming out this spring. My understanding was that DJI would integrate their ground station into the Ruling so that you would have much more than the Transmitters with FPV monitors.

And as of all DJI products released as of late you should wait for version 2 or 3 to get a stable working product. So I guess early 2014.
