Recommendation for initial gain settings on F550/WKM?

Well, I'm pretty well configured and ready to do my initial flight test. I have X3 bound to a knob on my DX8. The manual for the WKM recommends initial gain settings as follows:

F550


DJI-2212/DJI-30A/DJI-8 Inch

Pitch:170


Roll:170


Yaw:150


Vertical:140


Attitude: Pitch: 170 Roll:170





Is this a good place to start?

Also, do I bind the knob to just one gain at a time? Or can I bind to pitch and roll together? Please advise.
