TX can't be in heli mode, it has to be in airplane or acrobatic mode.
All sorted now thanks for all the help reconnected the computer and set it as a hex and made sure it wrote to the unit came out of the program went back and it works fine and in heli mode on the dx18 !!!!I think, when you go back in to the Assistant, plug in your Copter, hit the read button and see if it is the same. You could have a bad Naza.... can you let us know what outputs on the Naza are working? Just curious if it is M1 - M4. Sleep well, maybe a clearer head in the morning will help.
Just for your information, Heli mode will introduce Mixes into your channels, some for cyclic on swash-plates with throttle, and other items. Keep it simple and stay in Aircraft mode.
I have my DX7s in heli mode and it works just fine. Why would this not work?
I am sticking to aircraft mode works for me :nevreness:
thanks for all the help now i just need to sort the gps set-up
Mainly because the Naza software tells you to.... as seen here.

Also, I am pretty sure, while in Heli Mode, weird mixes can be set up for collective mixes and so forth. It probably don't matter, but I go by what I see, hear and read. Every setup video I have seen, and the references in the DJI information all tell you to use Airplane or Acrobatic mode.
I am sure there is a better reason than the one I mentioned, I am trying to research into it a little more.
