Avroto 2814-11 with 13 x 6.5 xoar props?

I'm running a Droidworks Ad8HL, with PH AV200 Gimbal- lifting Canon 76 / 5d3ect. - usually with 2 x 8000 mah 4s lipos. Been flying with the APC 12 x 3.8 props. Wondering if anyone has tested this motor with the xoar 13 x 6.5 , and what the results were?
- Or any other suggestions that have been tried for superior lift, and vibration?
Thanks

I have the same motor but from Tiger motors and i have 14x4.7 without problems..>!!

my platform is near 7 kilos..! i want to try the 13x6.5 too!

I have the 14 x 4.7 apc on my folding quad / same motors without issue - other than stall point when its not flying a heavy load.. lots of lift for sure.. But specifically the xoar 13 x 6.5... wondering performance..

interested in thread - same motors on hexa running same 12x3.8 apc. wanting to try 13x6.5 xoar- looking for a bit more lift.

You can move to 13x6.5 xoar props easily.

The setup you're lifting with 12x3.8 right now is quite at the limits I suppose. With the prop change, you will gain almost another 3 kg lifting power.

If you're hover throttle is around 65%-70%, it will come back to 50% range. The problem is, under full throttle your motors will get a bit hot. Since we are not flying multirotor under full throttle, it won't be a problem either.

Check out http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc_e.htm?ecalc when a propeller change is planned. It will give you the figures.

Thanks - yes - checked out ecalc, but seeing the Overload/Heat problem was a bit on my mind. I know I almost never fly under "full power" but seeing as so many people have been trying/changing props and batteries I wondered if anyone had experience with real world usage. I have not added telemetry to my system yet for head/draw so I suppose I will do this as well.
Thanks for the input. I'll let you all know if/when I change out and tell you how it goes!

Also not sure I am entering things completely correct on there - seems my flight times go down with the 13x6.5 over standard 12x3.8 apc's..

I know everyone is running these APC 14's on their 2814 motors but when I tried it I was starting to smell oil from the motor burning off. They have never been that hot before. Now I am running an X8 configuration so maybe whats going on is that the heli is really running on 4 motors worth of lift and adding a lot more load due to the lack of prop efficiency in the coax setup. If a flat octo wasnt so damn hard to travel with I'd be all over it.

On my hexa with Avrotos, I moved from APC 12x3.8SF to APC 12x6E and increased lift with no problems. I also went from 3S to 4S. I'd think going from 12x3.8 to 13x6.5 is quite a leap. Why not ease into the change with something between the two?

I'm testing 12x4's and 13x4.5's on a hex. I was to understand the 13x6.5's have too much drag. Gemfan 13x4.5's are superb in quality.
On my X8, avroto on top (x4) and tigers on the bottom (x4). I love wooden props
