Hi guys - Help with Vibration in Skyjib6 + AV200

Hi!

Today I got some BAD vibrations in my 60P footage, last sunday I filmed for almost 5 hours and hadn't this problem. The propellers are balanced, the motors not. Nothing changed from sunday except that I changed some rubbers at the rail system of the skyjib (that connects AV200 to the frame) the gains are the same and everything is the same!

Please download the original file since vimeo converts 60>30p and the vibration changes to jello, anyway its only 24mb. I recorded it with a Nex5

Haya mate - I have had that very same problem when changing out gear rail grommets. I came to the conclusion that worn out grommets provide BETTER vibration isolation than new ones - I tested this by using worn out grommets [that can easily be slid on the gear rails] and then putting insulation tape around the gear rail so the grommet was a tight fit. The difference in vibrations was significant. I would imagine that with the new DW frames this issue is a goneburger ! Cheers.
