Need to lose Weight

Hi has anybody cut the landing arms under the motor to lose weight if so how was it done. I got my fpv going and it weights to much looking for ways to lose 50-60g. Before adding the transmitter and battery she would come home and land softly now she comes home and wants to land hard.

I cut the landing portion of DJI's F550/F450 arms so that I could mount co-axis motors. I used a miter hand saw and then a Dremel sanders to smooth out the rough edges (flatten it enough to mount motors). It was a hack shop but it works.
