CAMremote problem!

I'm trying to use the CAMremote to fire my 7D with efs 17-55mm. In MF mode it works fine, but there is a problem in AF mode. It focuses well, takes the photo, but then it resets itself and shuts off the viewfinder. What am I doing wrong?

Got this resolved! If a "record video" command is given in still shooting mode, the camera shuts off the viewfinder. In video mode, both stills and video work fine.

Also, I contacted the manufacturer and they released this new software, which eliminates reboots while using autofocus. It has an AF delay function, which can be set to 5 seconds for the autofocus to work correctly. They will probably release a new stable firmaware soon.
