What gimbal please?

Hi:
I have one hexa dji + naza+gps+sony nex5n. OK.
Can you help me? Can you say me a good gimbal for this camera and for this hexa?
Thanks.

I think I might be able to tell you in a couple of days/weeks.
I've just redesigned my own gimbal for my new Sony Nex-5N.
It might be a good solution between money/quality.

It's actually part of my own custom designed landing gear of which I'm very satisfied with at the moment. I'm using it now with my first version of the gimbal. I have to say I'm already pleased with the result of my A495 camera.

I'm really curious what the results will be like with V2 which will have extra vibration dampners.

Hopefully I will be able to show you soon.

I'd be interested in seeing how people answer as I'm looking for a gimbal for a similar setup.
I've been looking around and like everything it all depends on how much money you have to spend.
I was looking at the Photohigher AV130/360°, but at a little over $1100 it's out of my price range...at the moment.
I was hoping to spend somewhere around £350/$500 for a stabilised 3 axis gimbal...but they seem to be a little hard to come by.
If you find anything can you post back here, and I'll do likewise..

That's a bit weird, I was just looking at the photoshipone site, maybe it's a sign... :)

Thanks Chris.
Have you used these gimbals?
The footage looks great, would be interested to know what it's like in the real world rather than take PhotoshipOne's sales blurb..

Hi Chris,
Have you any experience/knowledge of the 2x gimbal from PhotoshipOne? - http://so.ee/mpP
There's no photos on the site which is a little frustrating, and I'm not even sure whether the gimbal can be fitted to a F550..??

Haven't used it, but didn't hear any bad things about it. Here is a "private" video from a guy testing his Photoship One Gimbal together with a SONY NEX5...not too bad, especially for that price.
But don't forget, you need also a Gimbal Controller, the built-in Gimbal Controller from the Naza is pretty much useless.

PS: I assume you have the F550 and not the S800...since both are Hexa's.

A much "cheaper" option would be to go with a GoPro HD camera and use this:

...or for the NEX5:

My 2 axis gimbal & landing gear would be waaaaaaaaaay under the prices I'm seeing in previous links! :apathy:

And my V1 gimbal is working great for me now in combination with the Naza gimbal controller, so I wouldn't call it "useless".
Maybe if it's not configured the right way it might be useless, but then also a lot of other gimbal controllers would be...

Here is your photo: http://photoshipone.com/2x/ ...but be aware that this gimbal got pan- and tilt axis....you want roll and tilt on a 2-axis gimbal....and this gimbal looks very "basic" to me....

Thanks so much for the links Chris, they look great (you probably just saved me around £400!!)
I'm going to be using a Go Pro Hero 2 to begin with so the Aeroxcraft kit looks just the ticket.

Thanks for the advice on the Gimbal controller, I'm going to have a friend operate the gimbal using (probably) a Spektrum DX6i transmitter, I haven't quite figured out how to get it to talk to the servo's yet...I was going to trawl the forums to see if there was any advice.. Any suggestions would be very welcomely received? :)

Why is the Naza internal gimbal control useless?

What is wrong with the Naza internal Gimbal control..... ??:apathy:
