3 position switch on DX6i help.

I have a DX6i. I am flying a FW 450 with NAZA and GPS. My gear switch is set to GPS and ATT mode. I can go back and forth between the 2 since this is a 2 position switch. I don't care to ever fly in Manual so all I want to add is the RTH feature. (Return to home). Is there a way you guys are doing this so I can have all 3 features or am I stuck just buying a radio with a 3 position switch? Thanks.

Just dealt with the same thing, here's my setup: GPS & ATT Mode are channel 5 make your flap toggle your RTH - Go to your menu and make sure you make your Flaps 100% - That should fix your problem

Does the flap need to be mixed? If so what are the settings? Do I then go back into the assistant and do an endpoint adjustment on the flap switch to make it fall into the fail switch mode when flipped? Does it matter what position the Chanel 5 switch is in when the flap switch is flipped? Thanks for your help.

My exact settings: Flaps (Norm +100 Land +56) - (RTH)
Mix 1: Gear-> Gear ACT - Rate D - 65% U -100% - SW ON Trim ACT (GPS * ATT GPS)
Sub Trim: Gear +100 Flap +100

I pushed all my switches in the up position before I started, If you don't you can always reverse the switches to your liking
On my setup screen for XAircraft Software my channel 5 is designed for a 3 position switch, I set my Mix for Position 2 and 3 at 100 & 56 if I increase the 56 to about 71 my new switch positions would be 1 and 2. You can't have all three positions with a two position switch, but I am working / playing with a second switch that should give me the option of another switch that is tied into my channel five. Example: Gear 0 = ATT Gear 1 = GPS ATT Mix 0 = Norm & Mix 1 = Heading Lock. So I'll be able to switch between Norm, ATT & GPS ATT and have heading Lock at all times until I switch to Norm

Hopefully this helps
Shawn
