F550 stock - Average and maximum electric current

Hi. Could someone tell me what is average and maximum current consumption during the flight on F550 stock with 9" blades. (is it different between atti and manual ) . Im changing cables for the main power and would like use 12 or even 14AWG. Thanks.

Cant answer your question directly but I have been flying mine now for a week on 3S 3700 Lipos with both 8" and 10" stock props with no issue - and I have been doing a lot of flying :)

I would not do smaller- (6) motors with 30a esc?
From the photo, it appears that you need to use flux and more heat to get the solder to "run". It looks as though your solder was too cold and without flux.
A proper solder joint should be smooth & shiny until set (dull).
Check the web for videos.
Also, a proper solder connection should never break off.

Thanks for reply. I just get answer from another forum that someone use 14AWG cable and everythink is fine.. I hope 14 awg can provide enough ampers to the rotors. Anyway DJI inside kit including 14AWG as standard cables but i never use them , so i will try swap my big 12 with smaller 14. Yes i will try solder more nicely.

eep what a crappy soldering job. ive been using 10gauge for all my power and havent had a problem with soldering it or soldering it to xt60's
