Throttle Setup on WOOKONG-M Fail safe double checking..

Hi just a quick question as weather permitting will try out my Fail-safe on the F550 Fly Home..

Does it matter what throttle position you have set it too as long as it's over 10%?
If throttle is say at 55% while flying and its been set over the 10% will it drop like a stone? or will it correct itself to get it's altitude?

I had a fly away on an AR Drone and just panicking LOL
